We usually practise yoga in the morning and before dinner under the guidance of Daniela Fürst and observe the local breeding birds during the day on simple ornithological walks. The daily programme may vary depending on the weather and should also leave enough room for individual needs. Yoga beginners are welcome. Daniela has a gift for catering to each person individually and offers variations on the exercises.
On our forays through nature, we also encounter bird species that can hardly be sighted on the Central Plateau because they are completely or almost extinct. And we are on the trail of numerous ornithological topics: What is the purpose of birdsong and what is the difference to the call? Why do some birds migrate south in winter and others don't? Which birds breed in caves, which in niches or in skilfully woven nests? Why are the meadow birds, which are still comparatively common here in Goms, have become rare or threatened throughout Switzerland? Mountain spring of the Goms is captivating in various ways and will inspire you.
Built in 2021, small hotel is a genuine log cabin in the local architectural style and is a cosy place to stay and a starting point for practising yoga or discovering the beauty of the high valley with its birdlife. The local timber construction is cosy and the modern building technology is designed for energy efficiency and comfort.
