Goms - The 52nd edition of the International Goms Run took place at the weekend in perfect conditions and good weather. A total of 1,598 cross-country skiing enthusiasts (out of 1,643 registered) took part in the five different competitions. The 42-kilometre race was won by the favourite Susi Meinen from Boltigen and Mattéo Correia from Gérardmer FRA in the men's race. Around 3,000 spectators were able to watch the action live at the start and finish area in the newly expanded Goms Nordic Centre. For the first time, the marathon race could also be followed via live stream on Channel 9 and Swiss Sport TV on Sunday.
Without the generous support of our main sponsors Helvetia Insurance and the MGBahn as well as the numerous other sponsors and supporters, the organisation of the 52nd International Gommerlauf would not have been possible. We would also like to thank all our partners such as Swissloppet and the local service providers for their great support. A big thank you also goes to our numerous volunteers, who were once again coordinated using the "Swiss Volunteers" tool. It is their great commitment that makes the Gommerlauf possible in the first place.
