Gluringen.

Where the organic mountain cheese is at home.

The Goms village without a village center

Like most place names ending in -ingen, Gluringen owes its name to the Alemannic advances into the Alps. The name has not changed since it was first mentioned around 1203. Compared to most villages in the Goms, the houses in Gluringen are spread over an impressive area and it is difficult to name a village center. For many years, village life was also influenced by the Swiss army, which, however, is withdrawing more and more from the mountain valleys.

Ski lift Gluringen

In winter, the family ski lift Gluringen is open in Gluringen. The perfect ski lift for the first ski lessons and trips with smaller children.
