Accessibility in Goms.

Barrier-free travel in Goms

Barrier-free infrastructure and facilities in Goms enable people with disabilities to enjoy the unique natural scenery and culture of the high valley. Access roads, parking spaces, public transport stops, toilets, some of the cross-country ski trails and walking paths, as well as several accommodations and restaurants are designed to be barrier-free.

Accessibility statement
Accessibility is a key concern for us. We see active inclusion as an opportunity – a chance to strengthen diversity, innovation, fairness and social cohesion.
The Aletsch Collective (a tourism cooperation between the destinations of Aletsch Arena, Bellwald, Blatten-Belalp, Brig Simplon, Goms and Binntal Landscape Park) strives to make its digital offerings and the websites of the participating destinations – including www.goms.ch – as accessible as possible. The aim is to give all users equal access to information and services.
The Aletsch Collective is currently working with its partner destinations to gradually implement the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformity level AA. The WCAG 2.2 and the European standard EN 301 549 serve as the basis for this.

We are part of the OK:GO initiative. The OK:GO initiative aims to ensure that all tourism providers in Switzerland make information about the accessibility of their services available to the public.
