The altar was replaced in 1953 by that of the demolished St. Anna Chapel. The latter had to make way for a road extension in 1953. A large cross still marks its former location. In the basement of the altar is a statue of St. Anne and in the upper niche an Ecce Home statue from the 1st half of the 18th century.
