The International Gommerlauf, a long-standing cross-country skiing event, is firmly established in the calendar of events and took place for the 54th time on 21 and 22 February 2026. Alongside the Gommer Classic, the Gommerlauf Free Technique and the Gommer Taster Race featured on Saturday’s competition programme. On Sunday, the International Gommerlauf Marathon and the Mini-Gommerlauf took place. The International Gommer Ski Marathon, covering 42 kilometres, is one of the most challenging and attractive mass-participation races in the Alpine region.

The highlight of the Int. Gommerlauf is a major challenge even for ambitious cross-country skiers. The Int. Gommer Ski Marathon takes place on the same route as the half marathon.
