Goms is located in the high valley of the Upper Valais. Nestled between the majestic Alps and the young Rhône River, a region full of characterful mountain villages awaits you. Gletsch is the gateway to Goms and its three passes. The Goms region consists of two municipalities: Obergoms and Goms. Obergoms comprises the villages of Oberwald, Ulrichen, and Obergesteln, which lie at the entrance to the valley and at the gateway to the Furka Pass. Goms comprises Geschinen, Münster, Reckingen, Gluringen, Ritzingen, Biel, Selkingen, Blitzingen, and Niederwald.
