This season, the route is changing, but not the reason you ride it.
The Tälligrat Tunnel is being renovated, so the notorious trail from Märjela to Fiescheralp has been dropped.
What the route gains in return: around 1.5 hours of new trails near Bellwald, as well as on the Bettmeralp and Riederalp. Around Bellwald, narrow singletrack trails wind their way over rideable fields of stones and roots, past lush meadows and blueberry fields.
Another new highlight awaits on Riederalp: a varied mix of singletrack trails, short technical sections and flowing stretches — 3 km of new descent that’s great fun!
