At the Nordic snow sports center near Ulrichen, the heart beats faster for ambitious cross-country skiers. Not only because the demanding race course is physically quite a challenge, but also because athletes can show off all their technical finesse here in this race-proven area.
The race trail with steep climbs, fast descents, and challenging changes of direction has been certified by the International Ski Federation (FIS). Professional cross-country skiers often train on the 4.1 km loop. High-level races are also regularly held here.
The trail around the Nordic Center is reachable in just 15 minutes from the Ulrichen train station. From November, the piste is prepared with a modern snowmaking system. Correspondingly, ideal conditions prevail here early in the season.
At the Nordic Center, there are toilets, showers, and a small snack bar available. Parking is available on site.

Safety guidelines
The Goms trail is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Use of the trails is at your own risk. The Obergoms Tourism AG and the Goms trail disclaim any liability and accept no responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information on this website.
Use only marked trails and observe all signs and instructions—for your own safety, to protect the landscape, and out of respect for wildlife.
Be considerate of other trail users. Every skier must adjust speed and behavior on descents according to skill level and visibility. In classic tracks and on the free technique piste, keep a safe distance to the skier in front and stay on the right side. Those who stop step out of the trail. Offering assistance in case of accidents is a matter of course. To call emergency services, dial 144.
Weather conditions in the mountains can change very quickly and without warning. Appropriate clothing is very important.
You can always stay well informed about current conditions (avalanche danger, trails, winter hiking paths, snowshoe trails, and road conditions) through the winter sports report.
