The building Montanara is situated in a quiet and sunny location directly on the Gommer Höhenweg and the winter hiking trail and in the immediate vicinity of the cross-country ski trail. An ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The appartment is also close to the tennis court, playground and barbecue area at Münster airfield. The Valais is beautiful in every season. 3 minutes by car there are 2 connected ski lifts, toboggan run, Coop, butcher, bakery, post office, sport shop, etc.. Everything you need. If you prefer a somewhat larger ski area, you can reach the cable car to Fiescheralp in about 20 minutes, or the cable car to Bettmeralp in about 30 minutes by car. There are lots of lovely walks, playgrounds, barbecue areas, cycle paths along the river, pump track, mountain scooter ride, etc. Münster railway station can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Furthermore, there is a stop of the Matterhorn-Gotthard railway in every village, which is ideal for hikers as well as cross-country skiers.
