Wanderung zum Engländer im DorfReckingen

Yes, once upon a time there was an Englishman who, quite unexpectedly, turned up in 1929 in the small

mountain farming village of Reckingen; no one knew his story.

Ilse Carlen will tell us all about it with great passion. Leo Garbely will wrap things up

with stories from the Blinnental valley and that magical spot near Finsterling, where

the Englishman spent many a summer. Afterward, there will be an aperitif with alpine delicacies.

Meet at 4:00 p.m. at the Reckingen train station.

Due to the closure of the Blinnental Valley, this leisurely hike will take us to places

associated with the Englishman will take place in the village of Reckingen.

The hike concludes with an aperitif at the Stalenkapelle.
