Beginners learn the basics of weaving on a creel comb loom: We plan the weave together and set up the looms. We start weaving in the afternoon. A dishcloth can be finished on the same day; larger fabrics (scarves, placemats, kitchen towels) must be finished at home. Advanced students can create their own project under supervision and learn new pattern techniques (color interlacing/flotting/lace); it is also possible to weave kitchen towels using the double comb technique.
Weaving frame rental on the course day is included (extension: 5 Fr./day or 25 Fr./week). For club members 2 weeks are free of charge. Registration up to 2 days before the course to Bea Waldera-Kynast: info@stola-design.ch The terms and conditions of the Rosengang Textile Association apply. www.rosengang.ch and www.stola-design.ch
