ROSENGANG Textile Museum - Public Tours

The ROSENGANG Textile Association has further expanded the permanent exhibition at the Textile Museum. During our public tours, we’ll share interesting facts about the following topics:

“Old Valais Weaving Workshop”: How and what was woven in Goms in the past?

“Timeless Beauty”: Weaving pattern collection of Monika Carlen from Goms

“Flax and Wool”: the region’s most important textile raw materials

“Valais Blankets”: masterpieces of traditional weaving

“From the Wardrobe”: How did people dress in Valais in the past?

“Dye Garden”: Dyeing with Local Plants

Temporary exhibition: “Textile objects inspired by the colorful splendor of the Goms larch forest”
