Swimming pool Reckingen

The existing forest swimming pool is showing its age and is in urgent need of renovation. The new project offers a completely new swimming experience and allows for a four-month swimming season while ensuring sustainable operations.

What’s next for the Reckingen Forest Swimming Pool?

Currently, the Reckingen Forest Swimming Pool Support Association is working to secure the necessary funding for the renovation of the forest swimming pool. The municipality of Goms is the project owner, and Christoph Ott AG is responsible for project management.

Current donation total as of August 24, 2026: CHF 540,693 .89 (21.5%) of CHF 2,509,050

What improvements will the renovation bring?

As part of this planned renovation, the following operational and business improvements are planned:

• A new infrastructure building with a kiosk, restrooms, showers, lockers, etc.
• Consolidation of the pool area (non-swimmers / swimmers) and renovation of the pool basin
• Building and water treatment systems, sustainable and locally sourced, powered by a pellet heating system
• Extension of swimming season to 4 months a year with a constant water temperature of 22°

Will the Reckingen Forest Swimming Pool be open this summer?

For this reason, the Reckingen Forest Swimming Pool will remain closed in the summer of 2026 as well.

When will the Reckingen Forest Swimming Pool reopen?

The reopening is scheduled for the summer of 2027.
