MEbU is a concert venue for contemporary music and the workplace and home of the UMS'nJIP Ensemble for New Music (Ulrike Mayer-Spohn and Javier Hagen).

The name MEbU—short for Münster Earport by UMS’nJIP—is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the nearby Münster Airport. It is also an invitation to “land” at the Goms in a different way than you might be used to—namely, by listening.

UMS’nJIP is one of the most active contemporary music ensembles today; they are involved in a wide variety of music projects across forty countries and have collaborated with over 1,000 composers, directors, ensembles, and visual artists at the world’s most important centers for new music. In Münster, Goms, they return to their roots: with twenty-five mayors over the centuries, their family was among the most influential in the county. At the MEbU, UMS'nJIP also make their work accessible to the public: at the Liederstadel, in display cases , and in the Konzertstube, where a wide variety of musical performances —ranging from traditional folk music to avant-garde and experimental electronic formats—can be heard.
