Cotton towels can also be woven on a weaving frame. The range is wide and includes everything from small washcloths and guest towels to large sauna towels. Plain and simple or colorfully patterned. Matching your own bathroom interior—or intended as a gift?
Beginners learn how to plan the fabric and set up the weaving frame in Course I, with a focus on simple color patterns. (Slightly) advanced learners (e.g., after Course I) learn new weaving methods (e.g., shadow patterns) and how to use pick-up sticks to “read” effective color patterns in Course II. After setting up and weaving, the work is finished at home.
