Chamber music Early music

Course
from CHF 959.00 p.P.

Course content

Playing early music on period instruments means getting to know completely new musical perspectives and exploring new sounds and soundscapes. It is particularly appealing to experience the variety of colors of 17th and 18th century music in different chamber music ensembles, in interaction with others, and to get to know the most important forms of this period.
In addition to chamber music work, there is also the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in individual lessons.
There will be movement in the morning Pilates and an introduction to the most popular historical ballroom dances of the period.

This course is aimed at advanced amateurs and people who already play a historical instrument (in 440Hz or 415Hz) or who play a modern instrument and are interested in a first encounter with its historical predecessor: Transverse flute/traverso, baroque oboe/modern oboe, recorder, bassoon, string instruments (violin, viola, violoncello). Pianists who would like to acquire some basic knowledge of basso continuo on the harpsichord are also welcome.

Jouer de la musique ancienne sur des instruments historiques, c'est explorer des nouvelles perspectives musicales et des nouveaux univers sonores. It is particularly interesting to discover the musical diversity of the XVIIe and XVIIIe centuries within different ensembles of chamber music and to familiarize oneself with the most important musical forms of this era.

In addition to working on chamber music, students have the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge through individual lessons. A morning exercise class in the form of "pilates" and an introduction to the most popular historical dances of the time will complete the program.

This course is aimed at advanced amateurs and people playing an old instrument (at 440Hz or 415Hz) or a modern instrument who are interested in a first encounter with their historical teacher: flûte traversière / traverso, hautbois baroque / hautbois moderne, flûte à bec, le basson, instruments à cordes (violon, alto, violoncelle). Bienvenus sont aussi les pianistes qui souhaitent apprendre quelques notions de basse continue au clavecin.
