Swiss Hiking Night - A night hike to the Hungerberg

We meet at 23:00 at the train station in Ulrichen and set off on a special night hike through the impressive mountains of the Goms. Under the starry sky, the trail leads us up to Alp Mällige and on to the Hungerberg mountain restaurant before we return to Oberwald.

When darkness falls over the mountains and the sounds of everyday life fall silent, nature reveals its most fascinating side. After the challenging ascent, a well-deserved breakfast awaits us at the Hungerberg mountain restaurant with a magnificent view of the valley.

The hike requires a very good level of fitness and surefootedness. There are more than 1,300 meters of altitude to overcome on the route, with the highest point at just under 2,300 m above sea level. As temperatures can drop significantly during the night, we recommend warm clothing and equipment adapted to the weather.
