Glacier Grotto
Nowhere else in Europe can you drive as close to a glacier as to the ice grotto in the Rhone Glacier. The grotto is located at just under 2300 m above sea level on the Valais side, 3 km below the top of the Furka Pass, Belvédère village sign, approx. 180 m from the Furka Pass road and the Hotel Belvédère. Enjoy the glacier panorama viewing platform and soon the planned glacier lake platform and the glacier nature trail.
Short-term changes possible, depending on weather conditions or maintenance work, opening hours may be longer or shorter.

Ticket sales only on site, no reservation necessary
Visit lasts at least 30-35 minutes. The walk with information boards to the ice grotto takes approx. 12-15 minutes and involves a difference in altitude of approx. 680 m and 85 m. Individual visit without a guide. Contact person
