The quiet murmur of the Ägenebach stream a few meters away accompanies the experience at the Ulrichen fireplace. The water, however, is cold. On the other side, the fireplace is surrounded by a larch forest and a beautiful meadow. Here up to 15 people can grill, eat and play together. The barbecue grill offers a lot of space and the firewood can be collected directly in the surrounding area. The view up the valley is very beautiful, but in the evening the sun disappears relatively early behind the trees.

The fireplace is only one kilometer away from Ulrichen and can be quickly reached from there on foot, by bike or car. The best way to get there is to take the road towards Nufenenpass and turn left after the level crossing. There is space for parking, the last meters are covered on foot along a path.
