Course content
Experience the richness of the accordion's stylistic and cultural diversity. Learn the characteristic playing style and interpretation for the music that is closest to your heart - be it Eastern European folk music, klezmer, musette, chanson, tango, song accompaniment. Or deepen your skills on the classical accordion with Manual III with music from the Renaissance to Baroque, Classical and experimental music.
You will receive individual or ensemble lessons every day. Beforehand, you discuss your personal wishes and needs with the course leader, in which areas you would like to develop your skills and learn new ways of playing.
The course offer is supplemented by open lessons for all participants, in which we make music together and discuss topics such as style and chord. A lecture on accordion building offers insights into the inner workings and functioning of this fascinating instrument.
Target audience
Accordion and music enthusiasts of all ages. Solo, duos or smaller ensembles. Any level, any type of instrument (button finger, piano keyboard, standard bass, manual III) and all style preferences are welcome.
