Rhône Glacier Adventure
Experience the Rhone Glacier and its fascinating high-mountain landscape up close. The Glacier Nature Trail takes you through a landscape shaped by ice and vividly illustrates how the glacier has changed over the decades. From the GLACIER and LAKE VIEWPOINTS, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the GLACIER LAKE, the SOURCE of the RHONE, and a unique world of rock, water, and ice. Where massive glacial ice lay just a few decades ago, the transformation of the alpine landscape is now clearly visible. A special insight awaits you in the SMALL BLUE ICE CAVE, which has been carved out of the glacier practically every year for nearly 200 years. Summer heat and glacial retreat have drastically altered its size. It is precisely here that the changes to the Rhone Glacier can be experienced most directly. To round off your visit, the ALPENGARTEN, the KNEIPP FACILITY, the SOUVENIR SHOP, and the SNACK BUVETTE invite you to explore, relax, and enjoy yourself. The KNEIPP FACILITY is also open to visitors.

Important notice
- Please do not stray from the official trail to the ice grotto and the glacial lake. Entering the area behind the ice grotto is strictly prohibited. Due to natural alpine hazards such as rockfalls and unstable terrain, leaving the visitor area, stepping onto the glacier, ice, or lateral moraines, or approaching the glacial lake can be life-threatening! You must strictly observe the barriers and on-site signs. If you disregard these instructions, you enter at your own risk. The operators assume no liability for any resulting damage.
