Craftsmanship, tradition and creativity
An exclusive offer from the ROSENGANG textile association in cooperation with the Berglodge Goms, Münster VS
Hand weaving is one of the oldest crafts of mankind. For thousands of years, people have been using a wide variety of materials and techniques to produce fabrics. In a world that is increasingly characterized by industrial mass production, hand weaving is experiencing a renaissance today as an expression of individuality, creativity and cultural identity. There was also a very long tradition of textile craftsmanship in Goms.
The textile association rosengang.ch has been working for more than 10 years to preserve, promote and develop this tradition. Whether on a simple weaving frame or a complex loom - weaving offers a fascinating introduction to the world of textiles. The Gommer "Weaving" experience days are aimed at anyone who would like to learn about and try out the textile craft under professional guidance. In addition to theoretical and practical units, there is also room for exchange, creativity and relaxation in the beautiful hotel ambience of the Berglodge Goms and in the midst of the magnificent mountain landscape.
