Gommerpass

For hikers, the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGBahn) offers a special deal: the Gommerpass. This pass entitles you to free travel by train and bus in second class during its validity period on the route between Oberwald and Fiesch Feriendorf, both in summer and winter. There are 4-day and 7-day passes available—and in winter, you also have the option to purchase a season pass. You can also buy a pass for your dog so you can enjoy the Goms together.

Validity and Restrictions

• Not valid for regular commuter trips, rush hour travel, or trips on the Glacier Express.
• No extensions, no refunds, no replacements
• Self-loading of bicycles is not included

You can purchase the 4- and 7-day passes online at https://www.matterhorngotthardbahn.ch/de/products/gommerpass and at the ticket counters in Brig, Visp, Oberwald, and Andermatt, as well as at the MGBahn ticket machines.

Winter Season Pass (valid starting November 1)

• You can purchase the Gommer Pass for the winter season at the Oberwald train station and at the tourist information offices in Oberwald and Reckingen. Or, starting this winter, in our online shop.

The Winter Season Pass must include a current photo of the holder.
