Relaxation in a Place with History
A Journey Through Time to the Sources of Origin
Welcome to the Heidehüs – an extraordinary retreat in the heart of the Binntal, where nature, history, and tranquility merge into a unique holiday experience. Far removed from everyday life, you will find a place of power that touches both body and soul and invites you to pause.
The Heidehüs was built in the late 14th century and is one of the oldest still preserved residential houses in the Binntal. As the only building of its kind, it carries the historical name "Heidehüs," which is likely derived from the Old High German term for "old" or "original." Between 1980 and 1983, the house was carefully restored by Joachim Schmid with great dedication and respect for its history, and gently converted into a comfortable holiday apartment. The original character of the house has been preserved and now harmoniously combines with modern living comfort.
The location of the Heidehüs is unique. High above the village of Binn, in the idyllic hamlet of Wilern, you can enjoy absolute peace and an impressive view of the Breithorn as well as into the Lengtal and Binntal. Here, you are accompanied only by the ringing of church bells – otherwise, nature, silence, and the fresh mountain air dictate the rhythm of the day.
From spring to autumn, you can reach the Heidehüs comfortably via an asphalted private road directly by car. Those who prefer to walk can reach the house from the village center in about ten minutes. In winter, the valley station of a ski lift approximately 400 meters long is located immediately next to the Heidehüs, offering an easy entry into winter enjoyment.
