The Gädäli "Gämschi" is located at the beginning of the village, on the Furka Pass road. The apartment is on the south side (away from the road), with a beautiful view towards the Geren valley and the Saashorn.
The Gädäli is within short walking distance to the cross-country ski trail in winter, or to the biking and hiking trails in summer. There is an asphalted side road, along the Rotte, well suited for inline skating, biking or wheelchair rolling, away from traffic.
The old steam train to Gletsch, Realp starts about 100 m away. Also shopping facilities or a children's playground at the edge of the forest are nearby. In the neighboring village Obergesteln is a golf course. 8 km away is the Geschinersee. It is a beautiful recreational area and offers the possibility of swimming or standup paddling.
