The IBU Junior Cup makes its first stop in Goms and transforms the Nordic Center into a stage for young international biathlon athletes. Over 250 athletes from more than 25 nations will compete in team competitions, sprints and mass starts. The event is regarded as a springboard for young talent. Successful athletes such as Lou Lou Jeanmonnat and Niklas Hartweg started their careers at the IBU Junior Cup. Thanks to perfect trail conditions and the support of over 100 volunteers, the competition runs at the highest level. Goms junior athlete Sophia Imwinkelried is representing Switzerland and is hoping for strong results. Spectators can watch the races free of charge on the cross-country ski trail and at the shooting range.
